Affiliate disclosure

This site participates in GetYourGuide’s affiliate programme with partner ID 7GG5I5H. When you book a tour through a link or a booking box on this site, GetYourGuide may pay me a commission. You pay exactly what you would if you went to GetYourGuide on your own.

How it works in practice

All the booking buttons and availability boxes you see on the pages lead to GetYourGuide, an online travel agency: the booking, payment, and ticket remain there, on their system. The partner ID 7GG5I5H tells GetYourGuide you came from here. It’s the only identifier used on the site, on every page, and there are no booking links to the operators’ own websites.

What effect it has on what I write

None on the order or the reviews. The commission is the same for all six tours, so I have no financial reason to push one over another. The reviews also say which tours I don’t recommend, and the most-read page on this site — is it worth it — explains when you don’t need to book anything, because the street is free. A site that gives bad advice is only used once.

Why I don’t write prices

Because a figure written by hand ages in a few weeks and ends up misleading readers. The updated price appears in the booking box on each page, directly from GetYourGuide, with the date you’ve chosen. I explain what makes the cost go up or down without numbers in how much it costs.

Who’s behind this

I write the site, Nunzia Coppola: the bio is in about us. If something on this page doesn’t add up, email me at [email protected].

We are an independent guide, not a tour operator. The booking links lead to GetYourGuide and are affiliate links: if you book through us we may receive a small commission, at no extra cost to you. Read the affiliate note.
